Seven years ago they had an epiphany. Scott had spent many years as a coach helping his players navigate the world of college athletics. Jeff had spent his adult professional life academically counseling high school and junior college students and student-athletes. Together they came up with the idea of combining our skills in the private sector. Their specialty became working with student-athletes of all differing skills levels who not only need help deciphering the labyrinth of college admissions but also the ultra complex world of college athletics. This was the beginning.

While there are hundreds of private academic counselors in the Bay Area, they are one of the very few who specialize in student-athletes, and one of the fewer still who comprise both academic and athletic counseling for their clients.

High School counselors will readily admit that they are usually not proficient in their knowledge of college athletics. High school and private coaches often do not have a true understanding of the academic requirements and issues related to college admissions. Most importantly, neither is able to devote the time necessary to find colleges that are the proper fit academically, athletically and socially for their students. This is their area of expertise.

On top of working with their individual clients they also conduct clinics, workshops and seminars for families, high school teams, travel teams, booster clubs, athletic programs, college nights...wherever people may find their information valuable. They have presented in front of as few as 15 students and parents to as many as 1,000 attendees, in venues throughout the entire Bay Area.
